Air New Zealand “Cuddle Class” hits the streets of London

Air New Zealand is inviting curious Londoners to put its Economy Skycouch to the test as the airline takes its revolutionary Economy seat on the road for the CuddleClassTour.

Set up in the back of a clear sided truck, decked out in black livery, the Skycouch road show allows

Londoners to get up close and personal with the award-winning seat that’s transformed the way global travellers think about Economy travel.

The Skycouch, affectionately know as “Cuddle Class”, is a specially designed row of three seats that creates a flat, flexible space providing a generous surface for children to play or for adults to rest and relax.

First introduced on Air New Zealand’s daily B777-300 Auckland - Los Angeles - London service in 2011 the Skycouch has liberated customers and helped redefine the long-haul travel experience.

Air New Zealand Regional General Manager Americas, UK and Europe, Chris Myers says, “Skycouch has reignited customers’ passion for travel and revolutionised the onboard Economy experience. Not only does it help passengers to arrive at their destinations feeling rested and ready to go, it enables them to lie down and be as comfortable as they would be on their sofa at home.”

The Skycouch truck will be travelling across London until Friday 24 May distributing cuddles and giveaways.
