Victoria’s Kilmore Travel joins Travellers Choice network

Travellers Choice welcomed its newest member in Victoria this month with Kilmore Travel & Cruise Centre joining Australia's leading network of quality, independent travel agents.

Located 60 kilometres north of Melbourne, Kilmore is one of Victoria's oldest inland settled towns. Kilmore Travel & Cruise was established in the region in 2008. Travellers Choice BDM Victoria Sharon Richardson and Kilmore Travel and Cruise Centre founder Leesa Maxfield_Aug 2013
Founder Leesa Maxfield says she joined Travellers Choice because the national retail network shares her customer-focused philosophy.

"Being in the country we have a really close relationship with our community and we are always looking for new ways to interact with our clients," says Maxfield. "Travellers Choice has the same approach.

“They provide an extraordinary level of support at all levels, as well as the marketing tools I need to look after and connect regularly with my clients. That in turn is already helping grow my business and allowing me to be excited about the future."

Maxfield says the process of joining the Travellers Choice network was easy and seamless, and the response from fellow members was “overwhelming”.

"The welcome I've had has made me feel like an important member of a family in which nobody is ever too busy to help you out."

Travellers Choice has championed independently-owned travel agents for more than 30 years and today its national network includes award-winning businesses across every state. As sole shareholders in their company, Travellers Choice members enjoy an unrivalled level of freedom, ownership and control.

Travellers Choice Chief Executive Christian Hunter said Kilmore Travel & Cruise would further boost the company’s already strong network in regional Victoria.

“We have a significant number of travel agents located in regional areas and we work hard to ensure they enjoy all the benefits and support of their city cousins.”
