Beware camel virus

Camel virus spreads (R Eime)
Visitors to the Middle East need to be cautioned about getting too close to camels. The death toll from Mers has reached 282 in Saudi Arabia and there have been 688 confirmed cases. Mers is similar to the Sars virus. The virus has killed 10 people and infected 68 in the UAE since March 2013. Saudi authorities have warned people to wear protective gear when handling camels which are thought to spread the virus
