The prestigious event will launch with inauguration ceremonies and the Polo Parade at Place du Casino in Monte-Carlo, followed by three exhilarating days of sport, cocktail parties and entertainment.
Aside from the polo matches, featuring local and international teams, highlights will include the popular Hat Competition and a Charity Gala. In 2015, the Monte-Carlo Polo Cup will also support the principality's flagship event “2015: L'Annee de la Russie” (commemorating 150 years of cultural ties with Russia) by featuring artworks by prized Russian artists as well as a fashion catwalk highlighting haute couture pieces by Russian designers.
The event will once again be attended by special guest S.A.S. Prince Albert II of Monaco.
“Monaco [is] the perfect place to host the glamorous and prestigious sport of polo. We will be bringing a very high-end sport and supporters to the principality, which will benefit everyone,” said Francesco Mitrano, founder and president of the Monte-Carlo Polo Club.
