Royal Brunei Airlines Celebrates First Anniversary of 787 Dreamliner Service

Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) is this month celebrating the first anniversary of the introduction of their Boeing 787 Dreamliner service from Melbourne Tullamarine Airport to Brunei International Airport and beyond.

According to the latest figures, in the last 12 months, Royal Brunei has carried over 130,000 passengers, placing them in the top four airlines for transporting passengers internationally from Melbourne to the UAE (Dubai) and London.

Country Manager Australia, Brett McDougall, said the figures are extremely pleasing, "the growing numbers of passengers choosing to fly Royal Brunei airlines really cements our position in the marketplace as a serious contender for the high-demand routes. It's a testament to the excellent level of comfort and award-winning guest experience offered on board our Dreamliner aircraft plus our very good value air fares."

"We are really proud to have been the first airline in the world to offer an exclusive connecting Dreamliner service for all long-haul flights, providing a quieter, more spacious travel experience with minimal environmental impact. These features have been extremely well-received by the travelling public," said Mr. McDougall.
